Welcome, I am glad your here. Quail hunting and bird dogs are my passion. Mearns quail have quickly became my favorite bird to hunt, super fast, tight holding, stunning quail. And the best thing about them is the beautiful country they live in. We are lucky in Arizona to have three types of quail to hunt and plenty of desert to hunt for them. 

I really enjoy guiding,  its always been something I wanted to do.  It is exciting to be out there chasing pointers and finding birds.  Its awesome meeting other Quail hunters from across our great country, and I hope to get to meet you And enjoy a day or two in the Uplands of Arizona.

My bird dog of choice is the English pointer.  I have been Raising and training pointing dogs for 18 years.  I have raise a litter a year and love watching them grow and mature. it is something that excites me and keeps my mind occupied for hours thinking of all the great hunts and field trials these pups will be a part of.

Guided Arizona Quail Hunts

Guided Quail Hunts Start at $400 per gun a day.  Group rates are $325 per gun.  I provide travel to and from the various hunting grounds and a tailgate lunch. We only hunt Wild birds, and I spend a lot of time scouting out new areas, so you will have the best quail hunting experience i can provide. I specialize in Mearns Quail but if a hunt for Gambles or Scaled quail is what you are looking for then I will do my best to accommodate you.

You will need some good hiking boots and clothes for any weather (its usually warm though). Where we hunt can sometimes be rocky and steep. We will hike for 3-4 hrs at a time so you will need a pack to carry water and any snacks you might want.

You will also need a Hunting license out of state permits are $20 per day.  You can get you license when you come or buy it online.  You can find all the bag limits and season dates and license info at the Arizona Game and fish website.

A typical day!

We will hunt the mountains and deserts of Southern Arizona. You will see the beauties of the Sonoran Desert up to the oak covered valleys and grasslands of the Santa Rita Mountains. You will be privileged to hunt behind some of the finest English Pointers in the southwest. these are some videos I put together form the past couple seasons. plenty of quail flying and shotguns a blazing. I hope you enjoy it.
